Port Request Form. The port form is sent to the port
and distributed to the different areas required to obtain
approval.
◊ PortMiami doesn’t allow filming when there are more than
2 cruise ships in port. Usually PortMiami only allows
filming on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays.
◊ Complicated requests may require a port meeting.
◊ All filming at the port requires a minimum of one SES
officer (4-hr. Min.) and one MDPD
officer (3-hour min.).

◊ Please note that it may take up to 14 days to receive
approval to film at PortMiami.
Usage Restriction: Productions are considered on a case by case basis. At least one week notice for all productions. Police must accompany all productions. Letter of intent must be submitted, names and D.O.B's must be provided in order to conduct background checks. Must include: Type of project, the full name and date of birth for each person in your crew and cast. Exact location within Port property production would like to utilize as well as shoot date/s and time ranges.
Filming at Port Miami requires SES and Miami-Dade Police.
SES (Port security) are billed after filming takes place and is a separate invoice from Port Miami. SES have a four-hour minimum per officer.
MDPD are pre-paid. MDPD have a three-hour minimum per officer.
